OIC Observatory Records: 31 Palestinians Killed and 164 Injured in One Week

The OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians recorded numerous violations against school students in the West Bank during the period between May 26 and June 1, 2026. Occupation forces detained three principals of Al-Khader Secondary School for Boys, Saeed Al-Aas Elementary School, and Dhat Al-Nitaqain Elementary School for Girls. They also raided and searched Kafr Thulth School for Boys in Qalqilya, and settlers were present near Mikhmas Secondary School for Girls in Jerusalem. They stormed an American private school in Ramallah, broke down 40 doors, stole the surveillance system and various equipment, and chased and intimidated students of Kisan School in Bethlehem.

The OIC Observatory documented 147 killed and 164 injured during the reporting period. In the Gaza Strip, 28 killed and 146 injured were recorded, in addition to 4 killed recovered and the confirmed killings of 112 others. In the West Bank, 3 killed and 18 injured were recorded. The total number of killed from October 7, 2023, to June 1, 2026, reached 74,102, with 183,678 injured. The number of crimes committed during the past week reached 1,205.

Israeli occupation forces continued to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, including the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, the Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps, Deir al-Balah, the Al-Rimal neighborhood, and Khan Yunis, while the head of the occupation government announced his intention to control 70% of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces carried out 327 raids on cities and villages in the West Bank, resulting in the arrest of 146 Palestinians, including 7 children, and the injury of one child. The occupation forces demolished 14 homes, burned 3 others, and destroyed a car wash, an auto repair shop, a restaurant, 7 vegetable shops, 5 livestock pens, and several house walls. They also confiscated a number of agricultural tractors and vehicles in the Bedouin area of ​​Ain al-Ghazal in Tubas, as well as two tractors, a water tanker, a tow truck, two vehicles, and a water pump in Qalqilya. Additionally, they burned a wheat crop in Ramallah and bulldozed land in four different areas.

Regarding attacks on religious sites, Israeli occupation forces banned two journalists from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for a week, arrested a Waqf employee in the mosque’s courtyards, and prevented prayers at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron until further notice, subjecting it to strict military measures.

During their incursion into Ramallah, Israeli forces raided the courtyard of the Palestine Medical Complex, imposed a curfew on the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron, and raided and searched a number of homes.

The number of settlers attacks over the course of a week reached 94 attacks, where they released livestock in agricultural, pastoral and residential areas, 11 times in Ramallah, Hebron and Tubas, cut 70 olive trees and tree branches in Ramallah, Hebron and Salfit, stole two cars and a wheat crop in the Marj Si’a plain in Ramallah, uprooted agricultural crops, a cell phone, cut water network pipes, vandalized a building under construction and smashed the windows of dozens of cars in 7 villages in Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit and Hebron, and surveillance cameras in Nablus, smashed the contents of a barn and water tanks, and a car after it was thrown into one of the valleys, and burned a vehicle, a hut, part of a house and agricultural lands in Jerusalem, Nablus and Ramallah.

Ten settlement activities took place in seven days, during which settlers erected a tent in the Khirbet Aqwawis area, mobile homes in a newly established outpost in the Jabal Ebal area of ​​Nablus, and other mobile homes in the village of Turmus Ayya in Ramallah. They also erected a tent on land east of the village of Beit Dajan in Nablus, and three mobile homes south of the town of Al-Khader in Bethlehem. Additionally, they erected a barbed wire fence separating the town of Beit Awa from the village of Sikka in Hebron. Occupation forces bulldozed land east of the village of Rujeib to construct a settlement road serving a recently established outpost, and another settlement road in the New Nablus area. Settlers also bulldozed land south of the town of Bani Na’im. Furthermore, the occupation authorities approved a settlement plan to construct 517 housing units, public institutions, service areas, infrastructure, road networks, and new operational facilities on an area estimated at approximately 1,692 dunams to expand the “Masua” settlement, which is built on land belonging to the village of Jiftlik in Jericho.
