Israeli occupation forces conducted 82 raids on Palestinian towns and villages in a single day, establishing nine checkpoints on various roads, in addition to existing permanent checkpoints. They also forced shopkeepers in Jerusalem to open their stores after a strike called in protest against the law authorizing the execution of Palestinian prisoners. Six Palestinians were violently assaulted at the checkpoints and in their workplaces, and eight others were arrested, in accordance with the Israeli occupation forces’ policy of daily harassment of Palestinians.
