Gaza Strip: 45 Palestinians were Murdered and Injured in a Week, as Bombing Targets all Areas

Ramallah, March 10, 2026

Israeli occupation forces have intensified their bombardment of the Gaza Strip amidst ongoing regional developments. They have also significantly increased their violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, in addition to escalating arrests of Palestinians in the West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and occupying dozens of homes there. This comes against a backdrop of deliberate killings of Palestinians by settlers in West Bank villages. The total number of Israeli crimes over the past seven days has reached 1,318, encompassing various categories and occurring throughout all Palestinian territories.

The OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians monitored Israeli crimes during the period between March 3-9, 2026, recording 41 Palestinians murdered, including 15 Palestinians murdered in the Gaza Strip, the recovery of 20 bodies, and 30 injuries. In the cities and villages of the West Bank, six deaths and 59 injuries were recorded, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed during the period between October 7, 2023, and March 9, 2026, to 73,053 deaths and 181,413 injuries.

The Israeli occupation forces continued their bombardment of southern and eastern Gaza, including northern and central Khan Younis and Gaza City. The shelling killed a Palestinian woman and injured a child. These attacks coincided with warnings of a ban on the entry of cooking gas into Gaza, which threatens to exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis.

In the West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Israeli forces conducted 443 incursions, arresting 323 Palestinians and seizing 32 homes, converting them into military outposts. They also bulldozed 50,000 square meters of olive groves, uprooted 210 trees in other areas, destroyed a water pipeline in Nablus, confiscated two vehicles, and seized gold worth $54,800, in addition to 52 gold bars from a house in Tulkarm and approximately $40,000 from several individuals in Salfit, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and Hebron. Furthermore, they issued an order to confiscate land in the village of Ein Sinya.

Over the past week, Israeli occupation forces continued to prevent worshippers from other West Bank cities and villages from accessing the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. They also prevented the Isha and Taraweeh prayers, as well as the Friday prayer, and arrested an employee of the Al-Aqsa Waqf (Islamic endowment) and another at one of its gates. They also closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and prevented prayers there.

Regarding attacks on children, Israeli occupation forces arrested eight children and injured five others. Settlers also assaulted a child and vandalized the Al-Malih school in Tubas.

In this context, the number of settler attacks on Palestinian villages and Bedouin communities over the past week reached 67, the deadliest in recent months. Settlers killed two Palestinians and injured three in an attack on the village of Qaryut near Nablus, and they also opened fire on child shepherds in Hebron. They displaced 17 families from the villages of Al-Aqaba and Khirbet Yarza in Tubas, attacked and damaged Palestinian homes in the Hammamat al-Malih area of Tubas, released their livestock eight times into West Bank cities, stole more than 150 sheep in Tubas and Hebron, in addition to other undocumented thefts, attempted to steal more sheep in Ramallah, killed 11 head of cattle in another incident, stole money and the contents of a livestock pen, damaged water tanks and a water line, damaged a vehicle, and cut olive tree branches.

The number of settlement activities reached five, during which settlers fenced off land in the northern Jordan Valley near Tubas, in preparation for seizing it; bulldozed land planted with olive trees on the outskirts of the town of Turmus Ayya, to expand settlement outposts around the Shiloh settlement; established a settlement outpost in the Khalla area of Turmus Ayya, near Ramallah; and placed a mobile home in preparation for establishing a settlement outpost in Nablus, after paving a settlement road there. The occupation forces also issued an order to confiscate 2,800 square meters of land in the town of Jaba’, near the entrance to the ruins of the Tarsala settlement, for settlement projects.
