On January 29, 2026, Israeli occupation forces halted the rehabilitation of the water network in the town of Beit Ummar, near Hebron, and detained three workers on the site, as well as confiscating heavy equipment at the site. On the same day, settlers attacked engineers from the town of Huwara, near Nablus, during a tour to inspect the electricity network south of the town. Occupation forces intervened and detained the engineers.
