Israeli occupation forces frequently confiscate money from Palestinians at checkpoints or from inside their homes. In the last two days, Israeli soldiers confiscated 15,000 shekels and a quantity of cigarettes and shisha tobacco from a Palestinian at a military checkpoint in Jericho. They also confiscated 51,000 shekels, 30,000 shekels and 2,000 Jordanian dinars. Soldiers also tore up about 1,000 Jordanian dinars that Palestinians had in their homes in the village of Masliya in Jenin. The total amount confiscated by the occupation forces from Palestinian individuals during 48 hours reached $63,452.
