Israeli settlers’ attacks on West Bank villages doubled during the period between April 2 and 15, 2024, reaching 123 attacks, which reached their peak after the killing of an Israeli settler near the village of Al-Mughayir in Ramallah. The settlers attacked Palestinian properties and engaged in clashes with them.

According to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Observatory on Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians for the aforementioned period, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 377 Palestinians in the cities and villages of the West Bank, and 8 people were killed there by the bullets of the occupation forces. The occupation forces demolished three homes, including one in al-Quds, and destroyed rooms and shops in al-Quds, Jericho and Bethlehem. Additionally, the occupation forces confiscated 170 dunums of land in Bethlehem, along with the confiscation of  6 vehicles in various Palestinian villages. 

During this period, Israeli forces continued their aggression by attacking mosques, schools, and medical personnel. The total number of Israeli violations during this period reached 4,059, including killings, injuries, arrests, confiscation of property, demolition of homes, bulldozing lands, streets, and infrastructure, erecting barriers, closing roads, shooting, and attacks on various educational and health sectors, and mosques.

In the Gaza Strip, the number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, until the date of this report has risen to 34,262 people, while 953 people were killed in the Gaza Strip during the period from the end of the holy month of Ramadan to the entirety of the Eid al-Fitr period. Additionally, approximately 1163 individuals were wounded during this period. 

The Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Khan Yunis on April 7, 2024, leaving behind widespread destruction in the city, revealing numerous mass graves. At the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Palestinian Civil Defence personnel and medical staff discovered mass graves containing the bodies of individuals executed in their underwear in the hospital courtyard. The search continues for victims among civilians and hospital residents killed by occupation forces.

The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are living in difficult circumstances in light of the massive destruction inflicted upon them, while the occupation forces committed 31 massacres between April 2-8, 2024, during which 362 people were killed.
