Settlers displace 79 Bedouin families and release their livestock in 21 areas across the West Bank

Israeli forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement, shelling various areas of the Gaza Strip, particularly the eastern regions. They killed several Palestinians after shelling a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Attar area and another tent in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. They also targeted the Abu Hussein School in Jabalia refugee camp after shelling a mobile home there, and the Khalifa bin Zayed School in Beit Lahia. A child was also targeted in Jabalia refugee camp. Satellite images show that Israeli forces have destroyed more than 2,500 homes since the ceasefire agreement was signed. The United Nations confirmed that more than one million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are in need of shelter as winter rains intensify.
The people of the Gaza Strip endured the fourth wave of rain, with an infant dying from the bitter cold. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health warned that influenza cases could peak in January and February, potentially leading to fatalities, as Israeli forces prevented the administration of influenza vaccines. The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that 18,000 patients in Gaza required medical evacuation, and international organizations, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the German Red Cross, called for the lifting of restrictions on aid entering the Gaza Strip, given the dire need for food and medicine.
On another front, the OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians recorded 32 Palestinians murdered between January 6 and 12, 2026. The OIC Media Observatory documented the killing of 21 Palestinians, the recovery of 9 bodies, and the killing of a prisoner in Israeli custody. Additionally, 47 Palestinians were injured in the Gaza Strip. In the West Bank, the OIC Observatory recorded the killing of one Palestinian and the injury of 23 others.
Israeli occupation forces raided cities and villages in the West Bank 293 times in seven days, arresting 160 Palestinians, including 13 children, and injuring another. They also arrested five fishermen off the coast of Gaza City.
In the West Bank, the occupation forces demolished four homes, an iron factory, a farm, and several livestock pens. They confiscated a truck, a bulldozer, an excavator, and a vehicle. They also occupied two houses in Nablus, converting them into military outposts, and bulldozed agricultural land in several locations across the West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces also raided the campus of Birzeit University, where clashes erupted with students, resulting in injuries to seven students and six others suffering from tear gas inhalation. They also detained dozens of worshippers inside the Al-Satoun Mosque in the Old City of Nablus after they performed the dawn prayer.
Meanwhile, the number of settler attacks during the same period reached 82, with settlers forcibly displacing 79 Palestinian Bedouin families from their homes in the Al-Auja area due to ongoing settler violence. Additionally, settlers released livestock to graze on Palestinian lands in 21 different areas of the West Bank over the course of one week, burned 10 vehicles, stole two vehicles in the vicinity of Ramallah and Salfit, stole 210 sheep and ten calves in the vicinity of Salfit and Ramallah, tried to steal sheep in Hebron, shot at two camels in the vicinity of Tulkarm and killed one of them, stole a water line and agricultural equipment for spraying pesticides, and uprooted and cut down 150 olive trees in the vicinity of Hebron.
The number of settlement activities reached ten, during which the occupation forces issued an order to confiscate 694 dunams of land belonging to the towns of Kafr Thulth in Qalqilya, Deir Istiya, and Bidya in Salfit, in addition to confiscating 140 dunams of land belonging to the village of Fandaqumiya, for the benefit of settlement projects. They also confiscated an area of 46,973 dunams of land belonging to the town of Silat ad-Dhahr, the village of Fandaqumiya, and the village of Burqa, to build a road connecting the ruins of the settlements of “Homesh” and “Sanur.” In addition, the Israeli occupation issued a tender for the construction of 3,401 settlement units east of Al-Quds (Jerusalem). The “Ateret Cohanim” settlement association also seized a building consisting of two apartments in the Batn al-Hawa area of the Silwan neighborhood in Al-Quds (Jerusalem). Settlers paved a road leading to an outpost near the town of Atara, placed mobile homes on land between the villages of Fandaqumiya and Burqa, erected a tent on land in the village of Mikhmas, and bulldozed land southeast of the town of Al-Dhahiriya with the aim of paving a settlement road. Thus, the number of Israeli crimes during the period between January 6 and 12, 2026, reached 873 crimes in various Palestinian areas.
