On January 6, 2026, the Israeli Crimes Observatory documented Israeli settlers grazing livestock, some of which they had seized from Palestinians, on pastures, agricultural lands, and among Palestinian homes in the villages of Deir Jarir and Ein Sinya near Ramallah, Duma near Nablus, the Al-Auja spring community near Jericho, and Masafer Yatta near Hebron. This occurred after the highest rate of pastoral settlement activity was recorded in 2025, representing a new method of seizing Palestinian land.
